Great South Devon holiday breaks are available for families or couples. The accommodation is on a very popular holiday park just a few minutes flat walk from a sandy, blue-flag awarded beach. The park has a very good reputation as being one of the best in the area and has excellent nightly club entertainment with something to suit all ages including dancing, competitions, cabaret and bingo. Children are welcome to stay with you in the club, but there is also a daily children's entertainment programme at the children's club. There is cafe and takeaway on the park as well as four indoor heated pools, a playground and sports area.
Situated on the South West Coastal Path, Dawlish Warren has a wealth of opportunities for walking. Amble along the marked trails through the nature conservation area, an internationally important site for the protection of birds, insects and plants. Take a 2 mile stroll along to Dawlish where you'll see our famous black swans swimming in the brook which runs through the center of town, cascading over a series of waterfalls. There is fishing and golf nearby, as well as lovely coastal walks.
If you feel energetic, carry on to Teignmouth along the sea wall. You might be lucky enough to see seals and possibly dolphins on the way! Head off in the opposite direction and you'll pass the magnificent Powderham Castle grounds and some lovely waterside inns on your way along the Exe Estuary.
Just a 30 minute drive away is Torquay with its beautiful beaches and sheltered coves and a little further, Paignton and Brixham, more picturesque seaside towns which make up the popular "English Riviera".
Traveling in the opposite direction, again only about 30 minutes away, you'll find the historic city of Exeter, where you can visit the beautiful cathedral or perhaps indulge in some retail therapy in the town center where you'll find a good selection of high street Shops.
Each accommodation is a basic two-storey maisonette-style chalet. They are not flats and there is no-one above you, or below you. Each accommodation has two bedrooms upstairs (a double and a twin). There is an upstairs bathroom with a shower over the bath, plus separate toilet. Downstairs there is a spacious kitchen and a lounge with additional bed-settees. The TV has Freeview and the electricity is metered. A well behaved dog is also welcome to come with you free of charge.
